Fast and Furious 6 News

I never realized how much of a Fast and Furious fanboy I was until I saw this post on my favorite website IGN.  As a fan of all the Fast and Furious movie franchise - including Tokyo Drift - I was geeked at the close of Fast Five.  As with other large movie franchises like The Dark Knight and the Marvel Comics movies, Fast Five, closed with a teaser for a potential new adventure for the cast.

For the uninitiated or those that stopped after Too Fast Too Furious, the last installment ended with a reference to a character thought to be dead.  It also re-introduced the smoking hot Eva Mendez as a member of Hobbs' team.  That said, just because the crew scored $100 million doesn't mean they are going to spend the rest of their lives chillin and doing doughnuts in their hyped up Dodge Chargers in exotic locations.  Based on this article it looks like they have more work to do and I can't wait to see it all unfold.

According to this post, the trailer will be released during Superbowl XLVII and I'll be on the edge of my couch waiting for it.  Even though I'm looking forward to seeing Ray Lewis win a second Superbowl and go out on top, I'm actually more excited to see this trailer.  Now, I will admit, I am secretly curious to see Beyonce's halftime performance.

In the meantime, be sure to check out all of the previous Fast and Furious movies and definitely pull up Fast Five on Netflix if you haven't already.  You won't be disappointed.
